BOOK YOUR ROOM ASAP!

A lot of the big hotels downtown are booked up.

The Days Inn is cheap and okay. A lot of government employees stay there when visiting Raleigh. It is safely walkable to Kings (the venue hosting BFE).

Resourceful Bastard, Brian Graney, found this inexpensive option in 2015 and it could be an option in 2017.

“I found out about it by searching to see if NCSU had any on-campus guest housing. This is everything I know about it: https://housing.dasa.ncsu.edu/avent-ferry-complex-guest-rooms/

You have to name a University employee as your host friend (Marsha Gordon, Jason Groth, Josephine McRobbie) when you put in the room request, and you have to pay in advance, but you can cancel for a full refund.

The house rules state that you can’t throw objects off balconies or use fireworks in the room, so it might not be for everyone.”

Scottish, Capital, Comfort, Budget, Wake Inn are not recommended.. Don’t do it! (these places got worse in 2017!)

Here are some other lodging options:

Air BNB option (updated for 2017)

AirBNB link..

Air BNBs in the Oakwood and Boylan Heights neighborhoods will be the most walking friendly for BFE.
